A hole is through the mounting tabs of the box containing the battery and the car trunk’s floor. For feeding the battery cables a larger hole is drilled to the side of the box containing the battery.
There are four such mounting tabs present in battery box. Mounting bolts come from the battery box. The drilled holes are then tightened with three of them leaving the fourth one loosened.
The battery is now wired. Copper wires that are heavy are used for this purpose. It is of 12 gauge and even better one. The side which is positive is run into the drilled hole across the vehicle’s floor to the original battery’s positive side. The wires are held in the frame firmly using the plastic ties into the bay of the engine away from any other moving parts.
Next the wires for the speakers and amplifier connections are to be wired. The panel screws are tightened to ensure the security of the wires. The cover of protection of heat should be kept over the power wire. The fuse is then removed from its holder. Later on the positive and negative connections to the battery is made. At last the fuse is replaced back into the holder.
